Q: What are the differences between common fluorine lining materials? What does fluorine-lined mean?

A: We mainly use PTFE (F4), FEP (F46) and PFA for lining.

• PTFE: Excellent corrosion resistance and cost-effective, suitable for general acid and alkali media.

• FEP: Better flexibility and superior anti-permeation performance.

• PFA: Outstanding high temperature resistance, ideal for harsh high-temperature working conditions. 

 

Q: What media and working conditions are fluorine-lined butterfly valves suitable for?

A: This valve is designed for highly corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, salt solutions, organic solvents and corrosive gas. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical and wastewater treatment industries.Note: Not applicable for molten alkali metal and high-temperature fluorine gas.

 

Q: What connection types do you provide?

A: We offer flange type and wafer type. Both comply with HG/T, GB and ASME standards. Custom connection structures are available as required.

 

Q: What is the pressure and temperature rating?A: Standard nominal pressure: PN0.6 ~ PN1.6 MPa.Conventional PTFE & FEP lining: Working temperature -40℃ ~ 180℃.Modified lining materials are available for higher temperature demands

 

Q: What actuator options can I choose?

A: Optional actuators: manual lever, worm gear, pneumatic (single/double acting) and electric actuators (on-off / modulating type). Explosion-proof and intelligent control types are also available for special environments.

 

Q: What standard sizes are in stock?

A: Standard sizes DN50 ~ DN300 are in stock for immediate delivery. Non-standard sizes can be customized according to drawings and requirements.

 

Q: Will the valve leak during operation?

A: All valves adopt fluoroplastic soft sealing and pass strict tests per GB/T 13927 before delivery. They realize bidirectional zero leakage under rated conditions. Please install a filter if the medium contains hard particles to protect the sealing surface.
